Alaybasan B

Alaybasan is Beta Trianguli, the brightest star in Triangulum, about 127 light-years away, though only of third magnitude. Its name, approved in 2025, comes from the Arabic for “the two joints,” a name it once shared with Mothallah, Alpha Trianguli.
