Crab Pulsar

Crab Pulsar is the young neutron star at the heart of the Crab Nebula, about 6,500 light-years away in Taurus, left by the supernova seen from Earth in 1054. It spins about 30 times a second, and its wind powers most of the nebula’s glow.
